The Big Move: Transferring Stock 🚚

For the past three weeks, our team has been on a mission: transferring our stock from our own warehouse to a new third-party logistics (3PL) location. You might be wondering, what’s a 3PL? Simply put, a 3PL company manages storage, inventory, and transportation for other businesses. Our chosen 3PL is a top-tier company in Singapore, collaborating with leading supermarkets and gourmet grocers. Initially a fresh produce supplier, they expanded during COVID to support grocery and food distributors with cold chain logistics. Cool, right? 🥶

Why Did We Make the Move? 🤔

Great question! Here are the top two reasons:

1. Superior Cold Chain Logistics: Our 3PL partner specializes in cold chain management. They use trucks with three compartments—frozen, chilled, and ambient—all with real-time temperature tracking. This means your frozen and chilled goodies arrive in perfect condition. Thanks to this tech, we’ve already pinpointed areas for improvement, ensuring we serve you even better. 🥶❄️📈
2. Scalability: Partnering with a 3PL allows us to handle larger volumes. This scalability is why we proudly introduced over 200+ new products in our July New Arrivals! 🎉 Managing such a large shipment would’ve been a Herculean task for our small team, but with our 3PL warehouse manager’s support, it was a breeze. 🍃📦

Overcoming Hiccups 🚧

No transition is without its bumps, and we’ve had a few hiccups—like wrongly picked groceries. Our new partners are still getting used to some of our unique vegan products. But don’t worry, we’re on it! We promise to compensate for any lost or damaged goods and fix any issues swiftly. 👍💪

Ongoing Transitions 🔄

The transition isn’t fully complete. Some products, like Bonsoy and Oatside, are still in negotiation stages with local vendors. We’re working hard to secure the best prices and logistics to pass on savings to you. One exciting update: we’re planning to offer bulk order savings without logistical delays, thanks to our increased storage space. More savings for you, less wait time! 💸⏳
